What will you do with your one wild and precious life?

If you’re someone who’s struggling to articulate your “passion”, here are three questions that might guide you in creating more meaning in your life:

  1. What are your values?
  2. What are you curious about?
  3. What past experiences have shaped you, that you can now use as fuel for serving others?

Whether [a person]* tries to enter into a dislocated world, relate to a convulsive generation, or speak to a dying [person], [their] service will not be perceived as authentic unless it comes from a heart wounded by the suffering about which [they] speak.” — Henri Nouwen, from The Wounded Healer.

*Edits made to ensure gender neutrality.
